Why we exist

Built around how dogs actually play

When Maya Lindqvist adopted Bruno in 2016, he was nervous, sweet and completely overwhelmed by the big-box daycares she tried. Forty barking dogs in one room was not his idea of fun. It was not hers either.

After eight years as a veterinary technician, she knew what dogs need: small, well-matched groups, real rest, people who read body language and a calm place to be handled. So she built it, in a former boat-repair workshop with high ceilings and a big covered yard.

Today the club welcomes about 90 dogs a day, but it still runs on Bruno rules. Nobody is forced to play. Everyone gets a nap. And every human who drops off a dog gets the same honest update we would want for our own.

We do not run a dog warehouse. We run a club, and every member is someone's best friend.
