About Brightline
Started with one van in Clintonville
Today we are 34 technicians strong, but we still answer the phone ourselves.

Our story
Plumbing the way we would want it done at home
Ray Coleman started Brightline in 2006 after twelve years at a big franchise that paid techs on commission. He wanted the opposite: salaried technicians, honest flat prices and work he would be happy to have done in his own mother's house. His daughter Simone runs the company today, and the principle has not moved.
- Salaried techs, never paid on commission
- Every technician licensed, drug-tested and background-checked
- Ongoing training at our own Indianola Avenue workshop
- Locally owned, never sold to private equity

Our promise
Five things we never compromise on
Flat prices
You approve the price before work starts. It does not change if the job takes longer.
On time
If we are more than 15 minutes late for a scheduled visit, your diagnostic is free.
Clean homes
Shoe covers, drop cloths and a vacuum on every van.
Two-year guarantee
Parts and labour, on every repair. If it fails, we come back free.
Real people
A local dispatcher answers every call, 24 hours a day.
Giving back
Free repairs for 40 Columbus seniors every winter through our Warm Homes programme.
