Now representing the final four residences at The Pemberton, Tarrytown

Our story

Built on referrals, not billboards

Caroline Ashby founded Northfield in 2014 after a decade with a national firm, convinced that the best homes in Austin deserved a quieter, more considered kind of representation. She started with three agents and a rule that still holds: we only take listings we can give our full attention.

Today we close around 120 transactions a year, most of them in Tarrytown, Clarksville, Old West Austin, Westlake and the Barton Creek corridor. Nearly two thirds come from past clients and their friends.

We are independent, which means our marketing budget, our buyer network and our judgment are not set by a head office in another state.

Luxury is not the price. It is the feeling of being looked after properly.

What we stand for

The Northfield standard

01

Fewer listings

Each agent carries a maximum of eight active listings, so yours never becomes the one at the bottom of the pile.

02

Street-level knowledge

We know the floodplain maps, the HOA politics and the school boundaries by heart.

03

Straight advice

If a home is overpriced, we will tell you, whether you are buying it or selling it.
